WINTER IN VALLE D'AOSTA
Situated on the Swiss and French borders and surrounded by the most prestigious Alpine peaks - Mont Blanc, Monte Rosa, the Matterhorn and the Gran Paradiso - all over 4000 metres high - Valle d' Aosta is a real paradise for winter sports. Valle d' Aosta's 28 ski resorts, both small and large, offer skiers modern and quick facilities, thus preventing long queues.
